In 2010, Z performed in the Independent Regional A Class in the Ohio Indoor Performance Association (OIPA). During the season, Z took home a 1st Place trophy (Olentangy Liberty) and a 3rd Place Trophy (Wapakoneta). They placed 4th at the OIPA Championships.
 
Z also performed in the Independent Regional A Class in Winter Guard International (WGI). They placed 3rd at the WGI Nashville Regional and took 1st Place at the WGI Dayton Power Regional.

 Our Show for 2010

 

         

 

 

Our show for 2010 was dedicated to one of our former guard moms- Christy Grice.

 

          Christy's daughter, Stephanie Davis was a member of Ability in 2009. Christy travelled with us several shows, including the overnight trips to MEPA Championships and WGI World Championships.

 

          Christy attended our banquet in April. As everyone was saying their good-byes for the season, Christy expressed a desire to become more involved with the guard in 2010.

 

          On Mother Day's weekend Christy was killed by her ex-husband.

 

          Our 2010 show was "We Miss You" and included a domestic violence awareness theme. The show was performed to the song "Hands" by Jewel.

 

          Our floor was black with a large purple ribbon. The purple ribbon was used for domestic violence awareness. Our flags changed from purple, for mourning, to white, for hope.
