Kristina Franklin
(Captain)
Kristina quickly demonstrated her dance and leadership skills and became a staff member in 2008. This was her 4th year in a Rivertown winter guard (Ability 2007, 2009 and Z 2008) and her third year on staff. In 2006 Kristina was the USTA Ohio State Champion in the Senior Flag Division. Kristina is majoring in Early Childhood Education.
Kristina performed in the dances, on sabre and on flag and was the 2010 Star of the Year!
Victoria Brisker
(Co-Captain)
This was Victoria's 5th year in a Rivertown winter guard and this year she joined the staff!. She has been a member of the Minford (OH) Winter Guard (2005) and the Rivertown guards Optima (2006, 2007), Z (2008) and Ability (2009). Victoria plans to go to medical school.
Victoria performed in a dance and on the air blade and sabre. She received the Rivertown Five Year Award in 2010.
Gabrielle Brisker
Gabrielle finished her 1st year in Z . While she has no prior guard experience, she has been around winter guard for the past 5 years!
Gabrielle performed on flag and was the 2010 Rookie of the Year, 2010 Most Improved and the recipient of the 2010 Above and Beyond Award!
Morgan Bundy
Morgan returned to Rivertown after a one year absence. She was a member of Ability in 2008.
Morgan performed on the air blade, sabre and flag. In addition to
performing with Z, she performed a duet with Samantha at the 4th
Annual Rivertown Review.
Alexis Canter
2010 was Alexis' 3rd year in a Rivertown guard and her 5th year in a Rivertown unit. She was a member of the Rivertown units Optima Indoor Percussion Ensemble in 2006 and 2007, and Ability in 2008 and 2009. Alexis was chosen Most Improved for 2008.
Alexis performed on the air blade and flag. In addition to performing with Z, she received a "Gold Rating" in the Senior Snare Solo Class at the OIPA Wapakoneta Contest, performed a snare solo at the 4th Annual Rivertown Review and won the Silver Medal in the Senior Snare Solo Class at the OIPA Championships. Alexis received the Rivertown Five Year Award at the 2010 Rivertown Banquet.
Jeff Canter
Jeff finished his 4th year in a Rivertown guard and in his 5th year in a Rivertown unit. Jeff has been a member of the Rivertown units Optima Indoor Percussion Ensemble (2006) and Ability (2007, 2008, 2009). He was chosen Most Improved for 2007. Jeff is majoring in Music Education.
Jeff performed on the air blade and flag and received the Rivertown Five Year Award at the 2010 Rivertown Banquet.
Rachel Canter
2010 was Rachel's 5th year in a Rivertown guard. Rachel has been a member of the Rivertown guards Optima in 2006 and 2007 (Most Improved for 2006) and Ability in 2008 and 2009.
Rachel performed in a dance and on the air blade, sabre and flag.
In addition to performing with Z, she performed a solo at the 4th Annual Rivertown Review and received a "Silver Rating" in the Senior Flag Solo Class at the OIPA Wapakoneta Contest. Rachel received the Rivertown Five Year Award at the 2010 Rivertown Banquet.
Samantha Damron
Samantha completed her 1st year in Z. She performed in the dances and on the sabre and flag.In addition to performing with Z, she performed a duet with Morgan at the 4th Annual Rivertown Review.
Stephanie Davis
Stephanie bravely returned for her second year in a Rivertown guard. She was in Ability in 2009. Stephanie is an English major.
Stephanie performed in the dances and on the flag.
The 2010 Z show was dedicated to Stephanie's mother.
Sharleen Hemminger
2010 was Sharleen's 1st year in Z and her first year of guard. She is in a
Pre- Med Program.
Sharleen performed on the flag.
Chelsey Keathley
2010 was Chelsey;s first year in Z. But Rivertown first saw Chelsey in 2008 when she performed a dance solo at the 2nd Annual Rivertown Review. This year were very pleased to have her in Z!
Chelsey performed in the dances and on flag.
In addition to performing with Z, she recieved a "Gold Rating" at the OIPA Olentangy Liberty Contest in the Senior Dance Solo Class, performed a solo at the 4th Annual
Rivertown Review and won the Bronze Medal in the Senior Dance Solo Class at the OIPA Championships. Chelsey also won the 2010 Rookie of the Year!
Natasha Robinette
Natasha was in her 1st year in Z and her first year of guard. She came to us through Spin Club where she worked hard to develop her skills!
Natasha performed on the flag.
